Mr fieri said he would not do it, and he would not take any notice of it. He had gone to the trouble to satisfy the board, and it was vexatious to call on him bo take out a license and pay a fee of five shillings. Messrs Blyth and Mason thought the clerk >tothe board haddooenothing onlyhisduty, ibut at the same time they thought there was no necessity of enforcing the fee, as it was only a case in which a man was repairing an accident. It wos decided not to enforce the by-law io such a case, as it yeas an exceptional one, and that it would be a hardship on Mr fieri lo have tlo pay 5s under the circumstances. SCAVENGER.
