RIFLE SHOOTING.

A match took place at the Geraldine Eange on Thursday afternoon between teams from the Geraldine Eifles and the Temuka Eifles respectively. The conditions of the match were ten men a side, 200, 300, and 400 yards, five shots at each range, v Wimbledon targets and scoring, ihe weather was fine, with very little wind stirring. The visitors won by 16 points. One or two of the Geraldine men who can usually he relied upon to knock up about forty points each at these ranges were sadly off.
