Wellington, Oct. 9:
At the Supreme Court, Williams, for forgery, got 18 months' hard labour. In the charge of assault against Kobert Bullen, late inspector of police, after abaut an hour's deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of not guiljty. On a second charge of breaking qnd entering, the Crown Prosecutor entered a nolle prosequi. In discharging prisoner, the Chief Justice said that he hoped the inconvenience, and;to some extent the disgrace Mr Buljen had brought ■ on himself, would be| » lesson to him. !

The criminal sessions are concluded. George "Wallace for perjury got two years, and Thomas Ernest Waugh tor embezzlement, twelve months. \
