A man named Thomas Mold, about 40 years of age, was shot on Thursday morning at Auckland, either by accident or suicide. His wife beard the shot and ran out into the outhouse, where she saw her husband lying dead with a bullet in his head and a smoking revolver by his side. Nothing is known that can explain the tragedy, but it is supposed to be accidental.
