RIFLE MATCH BETWEEN PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATIVES.

A rifle match between teams of the various colonial Parliaments took place at Wellington on Thursday. The New Zealand team fired at Polhill’s Gully. The weather was fine, but the shooting was not so good as at practice a day or two ago. The .conditions were ■even a side; seven shots at 400, 500, and 600 yards. Capt. Coleman was in charge. < The scores were, Anderson 88, Veriall 74, Hamlin 72, Duncan 71, Rhodes, 67, Bruce, 60, Carroll, 56 j total, 488. The'South Australian team made 642, the top scorer being Costine with 90. The New South Wales representatives made a total of 485, W. Sutter, with 81, leading.
