At the Supreme Court, Blenheim, on Thursday, a man named Adams was mulcted in £25 damages for slandering a neighbor named Bell. Adams accused Beil of stealing five of his i sheep and on several occasions, in public places, called him a thief and a crawler. Defendant pleaded in exteimation that he was drunk when he made the accusations. £IOOO damages were claimed.
