From same, enclosing summary of attendance returns for quarter ending 30th June. The number on the roll of the Temuka school at the beginning of the quarter was 357, and at the end of same 360. The average weekly number was 195 boys and 171 girls, total 366. The strict average attendance was 273. From Messrs H. Wood and Co, and Mr F. Oa the motion of Mr Gray, seconded by Mr Blyth, the resignation was accepted with regret. All the mem* here expressed their regret at tfaje resignation, testifying to the chairman’s and the pleasantness of the meetings held during his term of office.. > I ■ The resignation Haying been accepted,'tW:"' I ELECTION OF A CHAIRMAN ; was proceeded with, Mr Gray wished Mr Blyth to take the office, bat he declined, and proposed Mr Gray.
