London, August 9. Later news of the Maybricfc case shows that although Sir J, Stephens’s summing up was favorable in the first pbrtidu, the conclusion wap decidedly adverse, Fueling is so strong'in Liverpool that it was deemed advisable to afford Sir J. He remarked upon the outrage to Sir J. Stephens, and said that it was un-English to mob a Judge for doing his duty. The remark was loudly cheered.
