Oliver. -VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it ia intendsd to introduce into the General Assembly of New Zealand a Bill intituled " The Geraldine Racecourse Reserves Act,lßSl, Amendment Act 1889." and that the objects the said Bill is intended to effect are— (1) To Empower the Bourd of Trustees of the Geraldine Racecourse Reserve to LEASE the Reserve for any Term or Terms not exceeding Twenty-one Years, on Conditions not inconsistent with the purposes of a Racecourse, for such Premium, at such Rent, and on such Conditions as they may think reasonable; (2) To Empower the said Board from time to time to BORROW on the Security of the Rents, Issues, and Profits of the said Reserves; (3) The Application of all Moneys received by the Board, after deducting Expenses of Management, to the Payment of the Cost of all Stands and othor Buildings which have been or may hereafter be erected on the said Reserve, and of the Cost of laying out the same as a Racecourse, and of making Saddling Paddocks, Enclosures, and other Improvements to the said Reserve. And Notice is further given that a COPY of the said Bill is Deposited in - the RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURTHOUSE, GERALDINE, and is there open for Inspection. Dated this 3rd day of August, 1889.
