THE PARNELL COMMISSION.
London, July 15. Mr John O’Connor, M.P. for Tippernry, while under examination beloro the Tiraes-Parhell ! Commission, refused to answer several questions on the ground that be was bound by an oath taken when a Fenian, although,he had now ceased to be a of that society. Sir James Hannen, the President, said the refusal of witness to answer the questions would Necessarily influence the judgment of the As Mr O’Connor persisted in bis refusal his examination was brought to a close. July 16. The Standard states that the whole of the Parnollites’ counsel have, determined to withdraw from the Commission.
