GERALDINE RACING CLUB.
The annual general meeting of the Geraldine Racing Club was held in the. Geraldine Hotel on Tuesday, the 18th June, having stood adjourned from the 11th Juno. Present—Messrs R. H. Pearpoint (in the chair), Cunningham, Connolly, Markham, Turner, Macdonald, Mundell, Tayler, and the Secretary. The minutes ef the last meeting were rend and confirmed. A statement of receipts and expenditure «a a read by the Secretary, showing a slight decrease in the Club's debt on the yest’s working. The Chairman reported that £7BO 2« had been given in stake# during the year, and £3BS had been received for nominaacceptances. The race privileges had realised the tom of 2259 4i 7d, while the totalisator had brought the Club In £29212*. Seme old accounts had been paid off and £42 returned to nominators to Sires’ Produce Stake*. The Spring Meeting showed • profit of £54, and the Autumn Meeting £45. After diicnssiou of various items, and the form of the statement put before the meeting, the Chairman moved the adoption .of the balance-sheet as read, which being seconded by Mr Mundell wae carried. A vote of thanks to Mr Cunningham for so ably carrying out the duties of auditor, was carried unanimously. Messrs Cunningham, Deßsnzy, Mundell, and Connolly were re-eleoted, and Mr B. R. Macdonald was elected a member of the Committee in plaoe of the retiring members. Mr Cunninghsm was appointed auditor for the ensuing year, A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the meeting. Committee Meeting. A committee meeting was afterwards held, at which there were present Messrs Pearpoint, Cunningham, Mundell, Connolly, Taylor, Markham, and Macdonald. Mr R. H. Poarpoiul waa unanimously re-elected chairman, and Messrs J. Muudell and F. Wilaen Smith treasurer and secretary respectively. A committee consisting of the chairman, and Messrs Mundell, Cunningham, and the secretary ware appointed to draw up a programme for the Spring Meeting, and submit the same to a committee meeting to bs held on Thuraday, the 27th inst. The meeting then terminated.
