Lord Lonsdale, who has reached the coast of Alaska on his walking tour (o the Arctic regions, declares that the Alaska cataract, on the Hay river, surpasses Niagara Falls in beauty. The river falls is a mile and a half wide, and the water descends a precipice over 200 feet deep, San Francisco, April 24. Lord Lonsdale, who has been exploring (he Arctic regions, has arrived here with most of the members of his party disabled from the hardships which they experienced. Lord Lonsdale states they had many strange experiences, and during the tout they discovered some new country.
