WOODBURY SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

A meeting of the above committee was held on Monday, April 15th. Present—Messrs Dean (chairman), Platman, Macdonald, Heatley, Middlemiss, and McKenzie. MINUTES. Mr Middlemiss asked the chairman if he knew how the hooka and other requisites were purchased and sold to the scholars, as there seemed to he some dissatisfaction in the district, evidently meaning that they were overcharged. The chairman said he did not Know anything about the matter, but he had frequently been asked the same question. Evidently there must have been some prior arrangement with the head master. However, he would ascertain particulars from Mr (Mitves. . . , l&e meeting then terminated.
