TEMUKA TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Tomnka Town Board was held last evening. Present Messrs K. F, Gray (chairman), G. ,f. Mason, P. Coirs, and J. Blytb. The Overseer submitted his specifications for the removal of nightsoil, and they were adopted. It was resolved to call for tenders for tho removal of night soil. The meeting then terminated. Joseph Henry Bently, who was arrested at the Bluff on March Ist charged with larceny as a bailee, was yesterday remanded to Wellington. Eley s ammunition is to be used at tho forthcoming meeting under the auspices of the N.Z, Rifle Association. An information has been laid against C. M, Gray, a member of the Christchurch City Council, for assaulting P. Selig, of tho Referee newspaper. Dr. Stockwell, a well known medical practitioner, and formerly health officer for Auckland, died on Tuesday, aged fifty-seven years.
