ENGLISH MARKETS.
London, February 20.: The wool sales closed with great firmness. 14,000 bales are held over for the April sales. 130,000 bales were sold for export, and 160,000 bales were bought by Home manufacturers. The total qauntity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,224,000 quarters, and for the Continent 400,000 quarters. The American visible supply of wheat is 33,500,000 bushels. . New Zealand prime mutton, 4£d. Leather has now declined l|d ; best sides are now quoted at 8H to 9d. ■ At the wool auctions the American buyers secured 6,000 bales of Australian shipments.
