DUNEDIN STOCK MARKET.

At the Burnside Yards on Tuesda} 1- the following business was transacted : Fat Cattle—The supply this week consisted of 102 head, a few pens really prime quality, best drafts hailing from Waimate, Terauka, and Keith Hall estates. . Prices were quite up to, and in some cases rather better, than those ruling last week. Prices ranged from £5 to £8 12s 6d for bullocks, £2 17s Gd to £6 2s Gdfor cows. —Messrs Donald Eeid and Co. sold for Mr Jas. Guild (Trevenna), 6 very prime bullocks (heavy weights) at £8 10s to £7 17s 6d.—Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. sold for the same vendor, 6 prime bullocks at £8 5s to £8 15s ; for Mr Wm. Grant (Elloughton Grange), 7 from £6 6s to £4 ss. Pat Calves—Prom Iss to 20s.

.Fat Sheep—The supply to-day consisted of 1576 sheep. The sale opened at about the level of last week's price*?, but were rather easier towards the close of the sale. Crossbred wethers sold at 8s 6d to lis 9d; crossbred ewes, 6s 9d to lis 3d. —Messrs Reid, Maclean and Co. sold for Mr Thos. J. Burns (Timaru), 60 crossbred ewes and wethers at 10s 6d to Bs.

Fat Lambs—lo6l lambs penned, nearly all good quality. Prime lambs sold at up to 9s 3d; small, inferior, and stores at 4s 4d to 5s Gd.

Pigs —54 yarded, chiefly suckers ; a few pens baconers and porkers. Grood suckers sold at 10s 6d; baconers and porkers, from 16s to 35s and 475. Messrs Keid, Maclean and Co. sold for Mr Thos. J. Burns (Timaru), 20 from £3 5s to £1 13s.
