FRENCH POLITICS.

Paris, February 14. M. Floqnet, the French Premier, has resigned. It is proposed to refer the question of the revision of tbe Constitution to the electors, A crisis is expected. In the Chamber of Deputies, in the debate on tbe revision of the constitution, the motion to adjourn the debate was carried by a majority of 89. It was in consequence of this vote that the Premier resigned, February 15. M. Sadi Carnot, the President, is consulting with the President of the Chamber as to the course to be pursued in the crisis brought about by the resignation of tbe Premier, and will probably invite a Moderate, perhaps M. Rouvier, to form a Government, in the hope of tiding over the crisis, go that the success of the Exhibition may not be interfered with. The Prince of Wales, who is on a visit to this city, witnessed the debate.
