LAND BOARD.
At the meeting of this Board at Christchurch on Wednesday last the following sales were among those made :—Section 35982,45 acres in the Geraldine County, for cash, to W. Upton Slack. Section 35933, 200 acres in the Geraldine County, granted by ballot to W. Hayhurst, on deferred payment. Section 35934, 50 acres in Geraldine County, for cash, to Henry Hoare. Section 35940, 581acres in Geraldine County, for cash, to the same buyer. Section 35943, 50 acres in the Geraldine County, granted by ballot to John Logue, on perpetual lease. Eeserve 283 at Winchester— Section 2, 1 rood 30 perches, for cash, to Henry Dynes. Section 4, 1 rood 16 perches, to Charles Taylor, on deferred payment. Section 3, 1 rood 13 perches, to John Philp, on deferred payment. Section 7, 1 acre, to Peter McCaskill, for cash. Section 11, 1 rood 19 perches, granted by ballot to W. DeEenzy, for cash. Section 12, 1 rood 18 perches, to William Shallard, for cash. Section 13, 1 rood 21 perches, granted by ballot to Wm. DeEenzy, junr., for cash. Section 14, 1 acre, granted by ballot to Alberta Young, for cash. Section 5, block 23, Orari township, 9 acres 21 perches, to James D. B. Howey, for cash. Section 35998, 40 acres on Eun 411, in Geraldine County, was granted to G. G. Eussell and H. J. LeOren, cash. Section 687, Arowhenua Tillage Settlement, 1 rood, granted on deferred payment to Euth Nelson. The Pteceiver of Land Eevenue reported deferred payment and perpetual lease instalments due on Jan. Ist still unpaid, and the Board ordered action to be taken at once to recover the amounts due.
