WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

Dunedin, February 1. At the Wesleyan Conference to-day tbe incraase for tbe home mission fund for the year was reported as £2513. This included a bequest from “A friend of missions ”of £2OO. A similar bequest to tbe foreign mission fund was reported. There was considerable discussion aa to the New Zealand Methodist, it was resolved finally that the Methodist Company carry it on, the Conference pledging itself to try and increase the capital. Feb. 2. An application from the Oamaru Trustees for special relief through the loan fund was read. It was resolved that the conference recommend the trustees to put the case before the loan fund committee, and commend the matter to the favorable consideration of the committee. The report and balance-sheet of the Three Kings College waa adopted, and the Rev. A. Reid, waa reappointed principal.
