POLITICS IN N.S. WALES.
Sydney, January 17. In the House of Assembly last; night on amendment was moved by Mr W. McMilUn, member for Sydney,'to the effect that the House refuses supply unless good reasons are shown why a Ministry representing the minority be allowed to hold office, and was carried by 42 to 30. Sir Henry Parlces rnnde a bitter onslaught on his former followers whom ho accused of desertion without the slightest cause. A scene occurred between Mr McElhons andex-Attorney-Genera! Wise. The former indulged in gross personalities against the latter. Eventually Mr Wise threatened to horsewhio the offender. The Ministry formed by Mr Dibbs were sworn in this afternoon. llis Excellency Iho Gr-vernor, acting upon the advice of the neff Cabinet, has granted an immediate dissolution of Pjrinment. The proclamation will be gazetted to-morrow.
