Auckland, January 2. Roth’s furniture shop ami hot baths, Victoria Street East, was destroyed by fire about midnight. The building was owned by L, D. Nathan and insured for £2OO in the Colonial office. The stock, which was nearly all destroyed, was insured for £SOO in the Colonial. Gisbokne, January 2.The five-roomed house of G. Hall was burned down on Tuesday night. Insurance—filoO on the building, and £IOO on ' the furniture in the Imperial Office. Dunedin, January 2. A cottage iu Walker street was slightly damaged by fire yesterday by the discharge of crackers. An unoccupied cottage at Caversham, owned by Henry Applegate, insured in the South British for £IOO, was burned down early this morning.
