THE END OF THE DROUGHT.
Sydney, November 30. Heavy rain has been falling all day in the city, and it is pouring in torreuts tonight. This silo the Blue Mountains rain has fallen continuously, and all over the country districts copious rains have fallen with every appearance of continuing Dec. 1. The telegraph reports from Wile-tuna state that rain has fallen in that district in common with other parts of the colony. Generally speaking rain wiil save late fruits and benefit some of the crops. It will also have the effect of bringing on new grass, thus saying stock. The bush fires are now out. In the west districts there has been do rain. Melbourne, December 1. Heavy rains are falling and there is every appearance of the drought breaking up. Brisbane, November 30Reports from the country state that light rains are fulling over a large area. Adelaide, Nov, SO. Light rains have fallen in the northern districts.
