London, November 23, At Howick tbe Maori footbalrs defeated the local team by a goal to a try. The Maori footballers played a team representing East Cumberland, 'whom they easily defeated by three goals and three tiles to nothing. During tbe match Ma'iigan, the Auckland three-quarter back, fractured his ankle. -

Nov. 24. The Moari team defeated Westmoreland County by a goal to a try. The Rugby Union compel Shrewsbury and Lillywhito’s team, just returned from a tour in Australia, to make affidavits that they received nothing beyond hotel and travelling expenses.
