END OF THE MINERS’ STRIKE.
Sydney, November 7. It is estimated that the miners’ strike has cost the mine masters and men over £160,000. Nov. 8. The ballot by the miners has resulted in the agreement on terms proposed by the matters being accepted by a majority of over two hundred. The Lithgow miners’ difficulty has been amicably settled, The miners have decided to resume work on Wednesday or Thursday, but probably several of the mines will commenoa working on Monday,
