LABOUR TROUBLES.
Sydney, ■; October 15. The miners of the Wallsend mine, who ore out on strike, huve attacked the non-Union men working in the mine. Stones were freely used, but fortunately only slight injuries were inflicted. '■ October 16. The South Bulii Company's miners have struck. ; ;Seven arrests have been made iti connection, with the Wallsend riot. .. A futile attempt was made to-day to wreck the Wallsend train in which the manager of the Wallsend mine was supposed to be travelling. j Melbourne, Octobr 15. The engine drivers on the wharves have struck on account of the long hours they are required to work. The discharging of v&Bsels is seriously impeded by the strike. ; London, October 10. , ; The Staffordshire coalmine owners have conceded the demands of the miners ■^—— : f
