FARTHING BIDS.
London, October 9. The proposal for farthing bidding at the wool auctions has been adopted by the London wool brokers, and the innovation will commence at the November sales, October 10. At a meeting of wool buyers, a resolution was passed that farthing bids at, wool auctions would not bo a benefit either to wool importers or purchasers as the change would involve unbearable extra labour, confusion, and loss. Buyers bare pledged themseiyes not to oppose farthing bids on wool below Bd. !
