TEMUKA PARK BOARD.
A meeting of the above Board was held last evening. Present —Messrs Gray (chairman), Aspinall, Quinn, and Hayhurst. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and oouficcaed,
The Secretary reported that since lait meeting be bad paid £lO to the Jubilee Committee, end there was still £Bl 2j 6d to credit in the Bank. Accounts to the amount of £6 lis were passed for payment. A letter was read from Mr Shiers asking tha price of willow stakes.—-The Seoretary ,-tated he had already replied. The Secretary gave information respecting the wo.ki at proseat going on in the park.— It was decided to have the pavilion tied by wire rope*, so as to provide against it being blown over by wind, Mr Hay hurst was appointed to see to tho sinking of pumps in tho Park. Flans of iron gates sent by Mr Anderson, of Christohurch, were laid on the table, and it was decided to ereot one in the middle of the Park. After transacting some other buiinets the moeding adjourned.
