GAS FROM COCOANUTS.

Mosers James Hale and Thom is Smale Hooper, of Sydney, have lately obtained letters patent in connection with-a new gas industry, their intention being to produce gas from coooannt, oocoanut-abell, candle nut, and other gas producing shells. There will also be used in connection with the process compressed ferns, burrawangs, turpentine scrub and tree, all of which are obtainable either in the colony or in tinsurrounding islands.
