AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.
GEUALLUNE. Messrs J. Mundell and Co. report sales for the week endiDg Saturday, 6th r, 1888, a 3 follows : At the Greraldine monthly sale on Wednesday, the entry, especially in sheep, was the largest that has erer been held in these yards, and the sale throughout may be considered satisfactory to vendors. The totals yarded were—6474 sheep, 79 head of cattle, and 55 pigs. Prices realised were : Sheep Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, fat, 15s 6d, 15s to 14s 2d; crossbred ewes, fat, 12s 7d, 12s 3d to 10s 6d ; crossbred wethers, stores, 12s lOd to lis 7d; crossbred ewes in lamb, 12a 3d, 12s, 11a t>d to 9s 10s; crossbred hoggets, lis Id, 10s 6d, 9s 6d to 8s sd. On© exceptionally good line of crossbred hoggets were withdrawn at a bid of 12s 10s.
Cattle 2-year-old steers and heifers, £1 14s, £1 12s 6d to £1 10«; yearlings, £1 to 17s; cows springing and in profit, £3 17s 6d to £3. Pigs—Strong stores, £1 3s to £1; small stores, 10s to Bs.
