THE NATIVE FOOTBALLisFS IN ENGLA.ND. London, October 3. The Maori football team played their first match to-day, meeting a strong Surrey team, whom they defeated by a goal and a try to a try. The Natives played finely throughout, and Created a very favorable impression. October 7. The New Zealand football team beat Northamptonshire yesterday by two goals and four tries to nil.
