Booming Noises.— -A correspondent of a contemporary, writing from Culyerden, says : What a pity some of those Professors who (ell us about the causes of earthquakes don’t come up here for a week or two and try to get at the cause of the booming sounds that are heard. Residents here think that the centre of disturbance is somewhere between the Cannibal Gorge and the Ahau.-a •addle. In the meantime visitors to the springs feel the baths even more efficacious than formedy. ,
