The laborers who went to work at the Greta coal mine this morning in place of the men out on strike, met with a warm reception at the hands of the mitvra, who assembled in force at the mouth of the pit. The laborers were jostled by the strikers, and stones were freely used in the mlti which ensued. One laborer was seriously injured by a stone. Brisbane, September 11.

In obedience to the instructions cabled out by the Colonial Office, the prisoner, about whom the recent difficulty between His Excellency the Governor and hie Ministry arose, has been released, and the Premier has withdrawn his resignation.
