GERALDINE CRICKET CLUB.

The annual meeting of this Club was held in the Geraldine Hotel on Tuesday evening last. There was a good attendance of members present. Mr H. "W. Moore was voted to the chair. MINUSES. The minutes of the previous annual ! meeting were read and confirmed. BEPOBI AND BALANCE-SHEET. The report and balance-sheet that three foreign matches had been played during the season, two of which had been won and one lost. The receipts for the year had been £li 13s * lid, and the expenditure £l4* 8s 3d, leaving a credit balance of 6s Bd. There was still about £3 10s owing of the liabilities of the old club, which were taken over. The report and balance-sheet were adopted, and a hearty vote of thanks passed to the Secretary for the manner in which he had managed the Club's affairs. EMOTION 07 OFMCEES. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Captain A. W. Wright; Vice-Presidents, Hon. W. Rolleßton, Mr Angus Macdonald, Dr ft. E<sh, and Mr C. Gh Tripp; Captain, Major W. M. Moore; Deputy-Captain, Mr H. W. Moore; Secretary,- Mr F. Wilson Smith; Committee, Messrs J. A. Fitzgerald, Gt. Ward, R. H. Pearpoint, B. Macdonald, F. Ksh, and

[H. N. Hiskens, with the officers en officio. SUBSCRIPTION. A short discussion took place re the amount of subscription. A proposal to reduce it from 10s to 7s 6d was negatived, and the amount was left as last year. The meeting then terminated. Committee Meeting. A meeting of the new Committee was held afterwards, when Mr H. W. Moore was elected Chairman of Committee. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Messrs H. W. Moore, K, H. Pearpoint, W. M. Moore, and the Secretary were appointed a Committee to see to the ground and material, and get both in working order. It was decided to visit the ground on the following day, and see what work required to be done. The opening day will be fixed at an early date. A vote of thanks to the Chnirman terminated the meeting.
