THE EUROPEAN SITUATION.
London, August 21. There is an anxious feeling on the Continent in respect to the dispute between France and Italy over the Massowah difficulty. Paris, August 21. The acrimonious tone adopted by Signor Crispi, tbe Italian Premier, in his replies to M. Goblet, the French Minister for Foreign Affair?, respecting the Italian occupation of Massowah, is greatly irritating the French, and it is believed that Germany is fom«ntjng a quarrel between France and Ita'y. i Berlin, August 21. Tbo attempt cf the Porte to tn'ist the sympathy of Germany (in a note protesting against the Italian annexation «»f Massowah) has met with a sharp rebaff at tbe hands of Count Herbert Bismarck, Secretary of State for For«ign Affairs. Rome, August 21. Signer Crispi has left for Berlin-to | consult with Prince Bismarck with reference to the Massowah difficulty.
