PUGILISM.

TO TUB EDITOR. Sib, —I think it is high time that some steps were taken to put a stop to fighting in our days, for as I was driving out the other morning with some ladies I was compelled to pull up and stop for some time before I could pass. Of course I enjoyed the fun very well myself, but my companions were rather put out about it. It lasted about one hour and a-half, and the combatants showed the noble art of self-defence “up to the knocker.” My ladies complain, and think that our member ought to be applied to, and let him bring it before the House with a view to putting a stop to such work. —I am, etc., An Eablt Bird.
