The autopsy of lh« late Emperor shows that the larynx was completely destroyed. Sir Morrell McKenzie has certified to the presence of cancer,in the trachea. 1

The funeral passed eff uneventfu'ly. The Emperor William telegraphed to His Holiness the Pope, notifying the death of the. Emperor Frederick. ; A mortuary service was held; ip the Royal Castle on Sunday, at which all the members of the family were present, inc'uding the Grand Dowager Empress Augusta. The coffin was sealed. At the funeral the Prince of Wales followed abreast with the Emperor William. The Dowager Empress Victoria bent over the coffin before the final dirge,

The Emperor William’s four sons, Sir Morrell Mackenzie, the Grand Dowager Empress,, the Dowager Empress, and the Princess Alexandra, were among ihpsa who attended the funeral service. Princ° Bismarck was too unwell to be,present. Glorious weather was experienced for the funeral, rendering the m litary spsc tacle most striking. A dinner of 150 covers was laid at the Royal Castle,' Berlin, for those who attended the funeral of the late Emperor. The Emperor William and the Prince of Wales were present.

The Marquis of Salisbury, Mr Gladstone, ;and M'r W. H. Smith, in referring to' the late Emperor’s dea'b, highly eulogised him. The address of condolence to the Empress has been adopted in both branches of the legislature. June 19.
Salutes were fired .to-day, and flags lowered haifmast, as a mark of respect to the late Emperor. Speaking on the address of condolence the Marquis of Salisbury rendered homage to ope,of the highest and noblest monarchs who ever reigned, us was shown under his singular trial and by his spirit, which made him a .famous example,,, valuable to sovereigns and men of all condition*. Lord Granville seconded the address.
