ENGLISH MARKETS, Los don, May 12. The English wheat market is firmer. The Continental market is changing a little for the wone, The American market is advancing, and has increased in firmness. Forward business is firm at late prices. Australian wheat, ex warehouse, is quoted at 85s 8d; ex ship, 38b fid ; off coast cargoes are mostly sold ; New Z*aland floor, patent, ex Store, is quoted st 235. At auction 1400 casks of Australian tallow w're offered, and 700 sold, realising 26s tor fine mutton, 23s fid for medium beef. Pig iron doll, at 435. Sugar is steady. German beet, 13s 8d ; Varan, Iss 61. May 18. Consols are at 101. May 14. The English wheat market is improved in tendency, and prices are fid better. Throe Australian wheat cargoes have b en sold, one of 8,000 quarters, and another of 3,000, February shipment, at 33s 9d ; (he third, of 5,5000 quarters, April shipment, realised 345.
