FOOTBALL.
A meeting of delegates from the Winchester Football Club met the Committee of the Geraldine Club on Friday evening last at Geraldine for the purpose of discussing the proposed amalgamation of the two Clubs. Mr G, Smith presided. After discussing the question it was decided to amalgamate, the new Club to be called the Waihi Football ClubIt was also decided that the 3olors of the new Club should be those recently adopted by the Geraldine Club, viz., scarlet, blue, and white, It was decided that q meeting of the members of Clubs should he held in the Mechanics’ Institute, Winchester, tha following evening at eight o’clock.
