ABYSSINIAN WAR.
Massowah, March 31. .Replying to the appeal of the Negus of Abyssinia for peace, the Italians s ipuiate that they shall retain the position now occupied by them, and also several stations where the troops may encamp daring the summer. They further insist that the Negus shall grant certain privileges to the friendly tribes. April 1. The Negus has declined the Italian terms lor peace, and has withdrawn his array to a better watered locality. April 2. Bas Abouh is opposing the Italian conditions for peace.
