FIGHT AT SUAKIM.

Brussels, March 13,

A startling report has been received here to the effect that the Arabs overwhelmingly stormed and burned Suakim, and the Egyptian garrison lost heavily in the fearful slaughter which ensued,- Many of, the inhabitants took refuge on board the English war ship in the Bay, but the Governor of the town and Colonel Shakespeare were killed before escaping. News feas also been received frem Cairo of a partly confirmatory but less sensational character. Owing to the interruption of telegraph lines no details are to hand.

London, March 14.

No further intelligence has been received of the disaster at Suakim, and its truth is doubted.
