GERALDINE TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of this Board Was held on Tuesday evening last; PresentMessrs J. Mundell (Chairman), J. Williams, J. A. Quin, W. Berry, and W. S. Maslin. MINUTES. From the Treasury, Wellington, requesting information re the Board's indebtedness.

From Dr Foster, Chrlstohurch, rt the Board's leases. From the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Christchureh, stating that the Government would contribute £lO to* wards forming the road to the Special Homestead Tillage Settlement, Geraldine. —The Clerk's report on the matter baring been read it was decided to call tenders for the work. The Ranger's report for the past month giving a list of stock found straying in the streets waa read. otbrsbkr's bbpobt. The Overseer's report was read.
