ORARI BRIDGE SCHOOL.
The Orari Bridge Public School (Mr Steven, Head Master) was examined by Inspector Gow on Decern* bei 10th, Prom the report it will be seen that the school made an excellent examination, 97 per cent; of the pupils having succeeded in passing. The following is the report ;•“* “ Standard VI. Presented 2, passed 2. Standard V.—Presented 3, excepted 1, passed 2. Standard IV,— Presented 7, failed 1, passed 6. Standard lII.—-Presented 7, passed 7. Standard ll.—Presented 9, absent 1, excepted 1, passed 7. Standard I. Presented 8, passed 8. Total—Presented 36, absent 1, excepted 2, failed 1, passed 32. Percentage of passes, 96.6. Percentage of failures, 3. Percentage on class subjects* 65. Additional marks, 71. The preparatory pupils read, spell, and write very well, and are quick at oral counting. The school has passed a very goo{d examination. The children are-well behaved, and good order is maintained.' “Jas. Gibson Gow, M.A., “ Inspector.”
