FRENCH AFFAIRS.
Paris, Dec. 10, A man named Aubertin yesterday fired at M. Ferry point blank in the lobby of the Chamber of Deputies. Fortunately M. Ferry’s clothes broke the ferca of the bullets, and only slight wounds were sustained. The assailant, Aubertin, upon being arrested, stated that he belonged to a band of patriots, who were pledged to kill intriguers. Party animosity has lately become most intense, and the Moderates ascribe the crime to the virulent Radical tone of the papers. M. Fallioris is engaged in the formation of a Ministry from the Moderate party. London, Dec. 10. Samuel Aubertineand an accomplice, who were deputed to murder M. Goblet (sic), were detected, and made an imme diate flight, dropping a revolver on the way. Violent scenes occurred in the Chamber of Deputies, and during the disputes the Radicals and Moderates have resorted to such means that in the end they were simply scuffling matches,
