Paris. Dec, 5. The National Assembly to-d«y officially reported the result of the election of a President. London, Dec. 4, The Parisian and French provincial journals, referring to the election of the President, alike rejoice at the peaceful termination of the crisis in that country. The Continental Press generally express satisfaction at the result, and views tin* election of M, Carnot as a peaceful augury. Dec, 5. M. Goulet has been summoned to form a Ministry, and it is expected to include General Perron and MM. Rouvier and Flourens.
