London, Oet. 27. Mr Wilfred Blunt, charged with presiding at the proc'aimed meeting of the English Home Rule Union, has been sentenced to two months’ imprisonment. He has given notice of appeal. County Clare is almost in a state of revolution. It has been found impossible to slop meetings. Mr Dillon is organising a great meeting at Middleton on Monday for the purpose of intimidating the Recorder of Cork when reviewing the sentence of O’Brien. It is probable that the meeting will be proclaimed. Oct, 28. • Viscount Uranbrook, speaking at Glasgow ol Mr Gladstane’s Irish speeches, said that he was the only leading politician in the history of the British nation who had connived at crime and outrage.
