London, Oct. 6. The French Government have decided upon forming an entrenched camp at Nitre. Five hundred of the worst convicts of France are to be deported to Cayenne, an island near the coast of French Guiana, belonging to France. Coant Munster, German Ambassador at Paris, has concluded correspondence with the French authorities in connection with the recent shooting on the Franco-German frontier, and the result is considered satisfactory. Paris, Oct. 8. Count Munster, the German Ambassador, has handed the sum of 50,000 marks to M. Fleurens as compensation to the widow of the gamekeeper who was shot on the FrancoGerman frontier. Count Munster, in tendering the amount, again expressed the deep regret of the German Government at the deplorable incident.
