London, Sept. 29. The suggestion that the yacht Thistle had been doctored proved groundless. Oct. 1. The second race between., the yachts Ihistle and Volunteer was sailed to-day. The weather was foggy, with ft fresh breeze, and when half the course had been sailed the Volunteer was leading by seventeen minutes, and was gaining rapidly from the Thistle, which appeared to be carrying too much canvas.
