Calcutta, Aug. 81. The latent reports from Afghanistan confirm the previous statements received as to the Ameer's ill-health, flews to hand further states there are now two factions in Oabul, odb favoring Ayoub Khan, the other Ishak Khan. Both pretenders have b j en urged by their supporters to come 10 Cabu 1 . Sept. 2. The latest news to hand from Afghanistan states that the gout from which the Ameer is suffering has reached his thigh. London, Sept. 1. A report was current that Ayoub Khan had been captured near the Eussian frontier, but it appears he is still at large, and is supposed to be concealed in Persian territory. The Ameer has accepted the Afghan frontier settlement on the terms arranged by the Delimitation Commission. Sept. 2. < News to hand from Central Asia state that skirmishes took place on the 6th ult., near Zulfitea, in Northern Afghanistan, between bodies of Herat soldiers and Russian troops, and that the Kusaian garrison of Karkai, on the Bokhara frontier, is proceeding in the direction of Herat.
