IRISH AFFAIRS.
Losdok, July 12. In the House of Commons to-day, the Irish Land Bill came up for the second reading, on the motion of Mr Ba'four, Chief Secretary for Ireland. Mr Campbell Bannerman moved an amendment demanding a revision of tiie judicial rents for holdings. Mr Chamberlain supported the Bill, but expressed a hope that the Government, would drop the bankruptcy clauses embodied in the measure, The debate was finally adjourned. The first reading of the Crimes Bill in the House of Lords is fixed for Tuesday. July 13. Serious rioting took place yesterday at Belfast, on the occasion of the Orange demonstration in celebration of the
anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne, A large force of police were called out, and they charged the mob. Order was then restored.
