IRISH AFFAIRS.
London, June 14. Evading the police at Bodyke, County Clare, Michael Uayitt held a meeting at Feajsle on Sunday. At the close of the meeting sharp fighting ansued between the police and the mob. Many of the latter were bludgeoned. Juno 1 Mr Chamberlain, in a speech at a banquet in London, said that Mr GHadr stone’s overtures would not satisfy the Unionists, He urged the creation of a National party, excluding all extremists, for the solution of the great social problems, A farm servant at Castle Island was brutally murdered by moonlighters, 17 of whom have been arrested.
